The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Test (HITSEEE) is conducted every year to offer admission to aspiring engineering & architecture candidates in the prestigious Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. What is the HITSEEE Exam?

The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Test (HITSEEE) is an entrance exam administered by the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) every year to offer admission to aspiring engineering candidates. The candidates are granted admission on the basis of merit through HITSEE. The exam will contain multiple-choice questions which must be attempted within 1 hour. 

HITSEEE Application Process 2023

The application process is the preliminary stage of the admission process. The applicants must pay careful attention while filling out the HITSEEE Application Form to ensure that no mistakes have been made. To do so, the candidates can follow the steps enumerated below: 

Step 1: Go to the official website of HITS

Step 2: Click on the Apply Now button to proceed. 

Step 3: Click on Apply Now button for the HITSEE 2023. 

Step 4: Enter your name, email ID, contact number, password of your choice, etc to complete your registration. 

Step 5: Complete your application process after logging in.

Step 6: Enter all the required details and upload all the necessary documents. The candidates can try using the Testbook Resize Tool for photo resizing.

Step 6: Pay the prescribed fee using the payment gateway to conclude the application process.

Age Limit and Nationality

Nationality: Only Indian citizens residing in India are eligible to apply for HITSEEE 2023.

Age Limit: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2001 are eligible to apply for HITSEEE-2023.

Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech Courses

  • PCM is Compulsory: The applicant must have cleared the HSC exam or any equivalent exam before applying in HITSEEE 2023 from a recognized board of secondary education, having secured at least 50 percent average marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech Biotechnology Courses

  • Minimum marks in PCMB for eligibility: The interested candidate must have cleared the H.S.C exam before filling the HITSEEE 2023 application form from a recognized board of secondary education, with at least an average of 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology.

Eligibility Criteria For B.Arch Courses

To be eligible to apply for the B.Arch courses, the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned below: 

  • The candidate must have passed a three-year diploma exam before applying for HITSEEE 2023 recognized by the Central or State Government having Mathematics as a primary subject and with minimum aggregate marks of 50 percent OR should have cleared 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects. 
  • All applicants aspiring to seek admission to the B.Arch course must write the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)and the applicant must have scored the minimum eligible marks as per COA norms.
  • Applicants who have a score in JEE (Main) Paper-2 are also eligible

Eligibility Criteria for B.Des

  • The candidate must have scored a minimum average of 50% in any stream.

HITSEEE Admit Card 2023

The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) shall release the admit card for the HITSEEE 2023 on its official website. The candidates whose application form is accepted will be issued the admit card. The candidates will not be permitted to attend the examination without the admit card. Hence, it is mandatory for all the applicants to be in possession of the admit card at the time of exam. The procedure to download the HITSEEE admit card has been explained below: 

Step 1: As the admit card is released on the official website, the candidates are required to open the HITS official portal. 

Step 2: Search for HITSEEE Admit card link in the Flash News Section. 

Step 3: Enter login credentials in the given space 

Step 4: Click on submit button to continue. 

Step 5: HITSEEE admit card will be displayed on your screen. Check the details printed on it for any discrepancies. Download and save the hall ticket for future use.

HITSEEE Answer/Response Key 2023

The answer key is expected to be released by the exam conducting board to make the self evaluation of the candidate efficient and effective. If need be, it is expected that the candidates can also challenge the answer key. The candidates can submit their suggestions on the official website. After careful consideration, the exam conducting authority will release the final answer key.

HITSEEE Result 2023

The rank list for the HITSEEE entrance exam will be declared on May 15, 2023 on the official portal of HITS. The candidates are strongly advised to preserve the HITSEEE result until they are granted the final admission. HITSEEE Cut Off Marks

The cut off marks for the HITSEEE entrance exam will be announced on the official website of the exam conducting body. Based on the factors such as, number of registration filled in, difficulty level of the exam, previous year cut off marks, the HITS will set the cut off marks for HITSEEE 2023. 

HITSEEE Counseling Session 2023

The counseling process will be conducted from May 24 to May 31, 2023. The candidates with the score higher than the cut off marks will be called for HITSEEE counseling and complete the admission process. A counseling offer letter will be issued to the shortlisted candidates by the admission authority. The stages of the counseling process are depicted below:
