Given:

LCM = 225, HCF = 5, and One of the number is 25.

Formula used:

First Number × Second Number = LCM × HCF

Calculation:

Let the second number be x.

First Number × Second Number = LCM × HCF

⇒ 25 × x = 5 × 225

⇒ x = (5 × 225)/25 <math xmlns="/"><mstyle displaystyle="true" scriptlevel="0"><mfrac><mrow><mo>×<mn>225<mn>25

⇒ x = 5 × 9 = 45

∴ The second number is 45.
