Given:

The ratio of corresponding sides of two similar triangles = √3 : √2

Concepts used:

Area of one triangle/Area of the second triangle = (Side of first triangle/Corresponding side of the second triangle)2

Calculation:

Area of one triangle/Area of second triangle = (√3/√2)2 = 3/2.

∴ The ratio of the area of two similar triangles is 3 ∶ 2.
