- उष्णता मज्जक हे एक यांत्रिक उपकरण आहे. निर्माण होणारी उष्णता नष्ट करण्यासाठी ते पॉवर ट्रान्झिस्टरशी जोडलेले आहे.
- उष्णता ही उष्णता मज्जकमधून वाहते आणि आसपासच्या हवेत विकिरण होते. जर उष्णता मज्जक वापरला नसेल तर सर्व उष्णता ट्रान्झिस्टर केसमधून सभोवतालच्या हवेत हस्तांतरित केली जाते ज्यामुळे केसचे तापमान वाढते.
- ट्रान्झिस्टरमध्ये, संकलक ते बेस संधिस्थान तापमान स्व तापनमुळे वाढते. स्व तापन कलेक्टर संधिस्थानावर आलेल्या शक्तीमुळे होते.
