Given:-

Total number of colleges in 4 states = 4000

Formula Used:

Percentage = (Part / Whole) × 100%

Calculation:

The number of colleges offering Java courses in state B,

\(⇒ 4000×\dfrac{15}{100}×\dfrac{92}{100}=552\)

The number of colleges offering Al course in state C,

\(⇒ 4000×\dfrac{20}{100}×\dfrac{86}{100}=688\)

Let the number of Colleges offering Java in State B is x% of the number of Colleges offering Al in State C. Thus,

\(⇒ x=\dfrac{552}{688}×{100}\)

= 80.23%

So, the number of Colleges offering Java in State B is 80.23% of the number of Colleges offering Al in State C.

Hence, the correct option is 2.
