Given:

Cost price of 75 articles = Rs. 10800

Loss = 5 × Selling price of 1 article

Formula used:

Loss = Cost price - Selling price

Calculation:

Let the selling price of one article be Rs. x

So according to question,

5x = 10800 - 75x

⇒ 80x = 10800

⇒ x = 135

∴ Selling price of one article = Rs. 135
