எண்களின் விகிதம் = 4 ∶ 9
எண்களின் மீ. சி. ம = 720
கணக்கீடு:
எண்கள் 4a மற்றும் 9a ஆக இருக்கட்டும்.
∴ 4a இன் முதன்மை காரணிகள் = a × 2 × 2
9a இன் முதன்மை காரணிகள் = a × 3 × 3
∴ 4a மற்றும் 9a இன் மீ. சி. ம = a × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3
= 36 × a
∵ 4a மற்றும் 9a இன் மீ. சி. ம = 720 ----(கொடுக்கப்பட்டவை)
∴ 36 × a = 720
⇒ a = 720/36
⇒ a = 20
∴ எண்கள் 4a = 4 × 20 = 80
9a = 9 × 20 = 180
∴ எண்களின் கூட்டுத்தொகை = 180 + 80
= 260
