The ratio of least common multiple (LCM) and greatest common factor (HCF) of two numbers is 3:1

The product of those two numbers is 432

Formula used:

LCM × HCF = Product of the two numbers

Calculation:

Let the HCF be x

Then, LCM = 3x

⇒ 3x × x = 432

⇒ 3x2 = 432
