Raven's progressive matrices (RPM) is a _______ intelligence test.

• The test contains visual geometric designs with a missing piece and the task of the test taker is to choose the missing part of the matrix from six to eight given alternatives.

Additional Information Raven constructed three different forms of tests: Standard Progressive Matrices (SPM), Coloured Progressive Matrices (CPM) and, Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM).

• SPM is suitable for average individuals between the ages of 6 and 80 years.
• CPM is available for younger children and for special groups who cannot be tested on SPM.
• APM is available for above-average adolescents and adults.
