The fixed points of the transformation w = f(z) are obtained from the equation z = f(z).
i.e. to find fixed point, simply put w= z and then solve for z.

W = z + a
Now, for fixed point, put w = z
We get
z = z + a
If a = 0 or we get no value of z.
∴ The fixed point of z does not exist or z = ∞.
