The candidates must be familiar with the ISRO Scientist EC eligibility criteria before applying for the recruitment examination. The details of these criteria are as follows:
Age Limit
The minimum age limit to be eligible for the ISRO Scientist EC posts is not notified yet and the maximum age limit is 28 years as on 19.12.2025. Serving Govt. employees, Ex-Servicemen; Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, meritorious Sports persons are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Educational Qualification
The candidates must meet the required ISRO Scientist EC eligibility for education to be eligible for the post. The candidates must have:
- Completed BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics & Communication Engineering with First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
- GATE Qualification: Valid GATE score in Electronics & Communication Engineering (Paper Code: EC)
Note: Candidates will be Screened-in for Interview on the basis of a valid GATE – 2024 or GATE – 2025 Score. The GATE paper and the subject of the qualifying degree of the candidates must be as per the discipline as mentioned above in the table. Candidates are advised to be careful while filling in their GATE Score (not GATE marks or GATE Rank), as the shortlisting will be based on the ScoresFilled in the Application Form.
Nationality
The candidates who want to apply for the ISRO Scientist EC job profile must be citizens of India.
Number of Attempts
