Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFGiven:
A completes the work = 2415 days
B is 25% more efficient than A.
Formula used:
Total work = Efficiency × days
Calculation:
Let Efficiency of A = 100 unit
According to the question
Efficiency of B = 125 unit
The ratio of A and B = 100: 125
= 4: 5
Efficiency of A = 4 unit
Total work = 4 × 2415
= 9660 unit
Efficiency of B = 5 unit
The number of days taken by B = 9660/5
= 1932 days
∴ The correct answer is the 1932 days.
