The candidates are not allowed to fill the JEE Main Application Form 2025 now as the official deadline has passed. Follow the steps to attend the recruitment.
Step 1: Go to the official NTA JEE Main website and click on the registration link for the exam.
Step 2: Carefully read the instructions provided on the page before proceeding.
Step 3: Register using a valid email ID and mobile number to create your account.
Step 4: After successful registration, an application number will be generated for you. Note down this application number for future reference and login purposes.
Step 5: Log in with your application number, create a password, and enter the captcha code. Keep your password secure and avoid sharing it with anyone.
Step 6: Fill in your personal details and upload the required documents as per the specified format. Use the Testbook Resize Tool to ensure your documents meet the format requirements.
Note: Candidates who applied for Session 1 do not need to register again for Session 2. They can log in with their existing application number and password to update their details for Session 2 and pay the application fees.
Step 7: Apart from the scanned documents, fill in details like qualifying examination information, exam center preferences, and payment mode. Double-check all entered details to avoid any errors.
Step 8: Once all details are filled in, download the acknowledgement receipt. Print a copy of the receipt for future reference and assistance.
The application fees for JEE Main 2026 exam vary for each paper as well as category-wise for boys and girls. The application fees are different for the exam centre in India and outside India. Payment can be online via debit card, credit card, or internet banking.

Before registering yourself for the exam, it is advised to please go through the eligibility criteria and check if you fit in to appear for the exam. Let’s have a quick look at the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2026:
The candidate must be either appearing or must have cleared the 10+2 level exam or equivalent from an authorized university or board. Students who hold a diploma are also eligible. But the exception for the diploma holders will be that they will only be considered for the IITs. The scorecard will not be applicable for NITs and CFTIs. There will be no age limit. As per the specific subject criterion, the candidates must have passed Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or any other technical vocational subject from the 5 subjects opted for.
The JEE Main exam pattern consists of two papers. Paper 1 is meant for the B.E/B. Tech students and Paper 2 is dedicated to the students appearing for the B.Arch / B.Planning courses via JEE Main. Here is a brief of the same-
