• The CUET Fine Arts/Visual Arts will consist of concepts related to the Pahari and Rajasthani School of Miniature Paintings, Mughal and Deccan Schools of Miniature Paintings, Bengal School, and Modern Trends.
• Candidates can get in-depth knowledge on cracking the CUET entrance exams in one go from CUET Exam Pattern.
• Candidates have to attempt 35/40 questions out of 45/50 in the exam.

CUET Fine Arts Syllabus 2025

There are majorly three major sections of the Fine Arts which are namely Painting, Sculpture, Graphics and Commerical Arts. Read further to get the syllabus for each subject in detail.

PAINTING

There will be four units in the Painting subject of the CUET exam 2025. These units are:

Unit 1: The Rajasthani and Pahari Schools of Miniature Painting

Unit 2: The Mughal and Deccan schools of miniature painting

Unit 3: The Bengal School and Cultural Nationalism

Unit 4: The Modern trends In Indian Art

Unit 1: The Rajasthani and Pahari Schools of Miniature Painting (16th Century A.D to 19th Century A.D.)

Introduction to Indian Miniature Schools: Western-Indian, Pala, Rajasthani, Mughal, Central India, Deccan, and Pahari.

(A) The Rajasthani Schools

1. Origin and development of the following schools in brief: Mewar, Bundi, Bikaner, Kishangarh, and Jaipur, and the main features of the Rajasthani schools.
