गणना:
माना कि एक घन की प्रत्येक भुजा a सेमी है।
आयतन = a3
a में 50% की वृद्धि होती है।
a + (a/100) × 50 = a + a/2 = 3a/2
नया आयतन =(3a/2)3 = 27a3/8
आयतन में वृद्धि =(27a3/8) - a3
=(27a3 – 8a3)/8 = 19a3/8
वृद्धि का % ={(19a3/8)×100}/a3
=19 × 25/2 = 475/2 = 237.5
