Area of triangle = (1/2) × base × height

Caculation:

Area of ΔABC = Area of ΔABC 

⇒ (1/2) × AC × AB = (1/2) × p × BC

⇒ AC × AB = p × BC

⇒ 5 × 12 = p × 13
