\(\rm \frac{EV}{X_d}\sin δ\) = Electromagnetic power
\(\frac{V^2}{2}\left(\frac{1}{X_q}-\frac{1}{X_d}\right)\sin 2δ\) = reluctance power
Electromagnetic power Vs δ is sinusoidal.
Total power vs δ is non sinusoidal.
