Rajasthan Police Constable Selection Process Stages 2025
The Rajasthan Police Constable Selection Process 2025 comprises 4 stages. Not all stages are applicable to all the types of constable posts.
- Written Test
- Physical Standard Test
- Physical Efficiency Test

Written Test 2025
The written test for the recruitment of all categories of constables are to be for a total of 150 marks. It consists of three parts. Provision will be given for negative marking in case of incorrect answers. There is expected to be no written test for the post of Constable (Band). Minimum qualifying marks are to be 40% for general and OBC/SBC candidates, 36% marks for SC/ST applicants, 30% marks each for SC/ST candidates of Tribal Sub Plan areas, and 25 each for Saharia candidates of District Baran in Part A, B, and C. The marks obtained in all these three parts are to be considered for final selection. The number of candidates selected for the remaining selection procedure will be five times the number of vacancies.
Physical Standard Test 2025
The candidates who qualify for the written test as per the Rajasthan Police Constable Selection Process 2025 are to be given a call for the height, and chest/ weight measurements (height and weight in case of female candidates). Candidates unable to meet the prescribed standards of height, and chest/ weight measurements are to be rejected.
Physical Efficiency Test 2025
The candidates who successfully complete the Physical Efficiency Test are to be given 15 marks (in the case of constable general duty and operator) and 10 marks (in the case of constable driver, band, and mounted). Marks obtained in the physical efficiency test are to be included in determining the merit of successful candidates. The candidates need to go through the physical efficiency test at their own risk. Candidates who are unable to complete the physical efficiency test will be disqualified.
Proficiency Test 2025
Candidates who have applied for the posts of constable (Driver), Constable (Band), and Constable (Mounted) and who have qualified in the physical efficiency test are expected to undergo proficiency tests carrying 15 marks to judge their suitability for these posts. The minimum pass percentage shall be the same as in the written tests for various categories.

For Constable (Driver): 2025

The proficiency test is expected to consist of the following practice tests on the subject of vehicle driving and vehicle maintenance a. Stop Test - 2 Marks b. Steering Test - 2 Marks c. Slalom Test – as per Annexure ‘C’ - 4 Marks d. Driving of Heavy Vehicles (along with possession of Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence) - 4 Marks e. Removing three simple mechanical and electrical faults in the vehicle - 3 Marks A Candidate will fail the test if 1. If he fails to demonstrate the vehicle correctly 2. The candidate is unable to demonstrate control of the vehicle when driving and Braking. 3. The candidate hits an obstacle 4. The driver cannot pass the slalom circuit. |

(ii). For Constable (Band): 15 Marks 2025
Includes practical test on subjects of bands as under
(i). Demonstration of band instruments and band tunes - 5 Marks
(ii). A good amount of knowledge of band instruments and their maintenance - 5 Marks
(iii). Bugle praying - 5 Marks
(iii) For Constable (Mounted): 15 Marks
It shall include different practical tests on the subject of riding and horses as under
Riding skills test - 10 Marks
Knowledge about horses and their upkeep - 5 Marks
Candidates failing to qualify in the proficiency test shall be disqualified from the selection process
Special Qualifications:
For the post of Constable (General Duty) and Constable (Operator) 2025

1. N.C.C: Candidates having N.C.C certificates are expected to be awarded marks as follows (for the highest available certificate only) |

a. ‘C’ Certificate 3 b. ‘B’ Certificate 2 c. ‘A’ Certificate |

2. Efficiency in Computer: Candidates having Computer Qualification will be awarded as follows |
|
|
MCA/BCA degree from recognized University or B/C level computer course recognised by DOEACC (GOI) PGDCA from recognised University or A level computer course recognised by DOEACC (GOI) O level computer course recognised by DOEACC (GOI) |
Maximum marks will be limited to 3 only |

3. Home Guards: Candidates who have served as Home Guards volunteers would be awarded marks as follows: |
|
|
a) Border Home Guards volunteer who has served continuously for more than 2 years. (b) Urban/Rural Home Guards volunteer who has served continuously for more than 2 years. |

4. Polytechnic diploma/ certificate course from any Polytechnic college/ ITI approved by Board of Technical Education, Govt. Of Rajasthan. |
