TNPSC Civil Judge Exam Eligibility 2024

Step 2: On the next page candidates should register themselves for One Time Registration (OTR) by paying the application fee of INR 150/-. This step is mandatory for everyone and after creating the Applicant‟s Dashboard page it will be valid for the next 5 years. 

Step 3: While registering under the One Time Registration system, candidates should upload their picture, signature and certificates whenever required. 

Step 4: Candidates who have done this stage before need to log in using their unique ID and password.

TNPSC Civil Judge Recruitment Selection Process 2024

TNPSC Civil Judge Selection Process 2024 will be done in three stages. These stages are as follow: 

• Preliminary Examination
• Main Examination 
• Viva -Voce Test.

The Preliminary Examination will be Objective in nature, whereas the Main Examination will be descriptive in nature. Candidates need to secure a minimum qualification score required in each stage. For the final Viva-Voce round the total marks will be 60 and candidates need to secure at least 18 to qualify the round.

TNPSC Civil Judge Exam Pattern 2024

The TNPSC Civil Judge Exam Pattern 2024 will consist of three main stages Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Viva -Voce Test. The details for each stage are given below. 

(a) TNPSC Civil Judge Preliminary Exam Pattern 

This is the first stage of the TNPSC Civil Judge Examination 2024. Candidates need to qualify for this stage to appear for the second stage which is the Main Examination. The examination pattern is given below. 

Important Notes: 

• The TNPSC Civil Judge Preliminary Examination will be Objective in nature. 
• The papers will be bilingual in nature meaning it will be set in both English and Tamil. 
• For each correct answer, candidates will get 1 mark. 
• For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total marks. 

(b) TNPSC Civil Judge Mains Exam Pattern 

This is the second stage of the TNPSC Civil Judge Examination 2023. Candidates need to qualify for this stage to appear for the third stage which is the Viva - Voce round. The TNPSC Civil Judge Mains examination pattern is given below.

• The TNPSC Civil Judge Main Examination will be descriptive in nature. 
• The question papers on Law Papers I, II, and III will be set in both Tamil and English.

(c) TNPSC Civil Judge Viva - Voce Test

The final stage of the examination will be a Viva - Voce Test. Clearing this round would make the candidate eligible for the Civil Judge Post. The total marks for this round will be 60 and candidates need to secure at least 18 to qualify for the round. 

(d) TNPSC Civil Judge Final Selection 

After clearing all the stages, the list of selected candidates will be published on the official website and the successful candidates will be provided with the appointment letter after doing the document verification. Before the appointment, candidates need to verify their documents and need to secure a certain physical fitness standard. The details for the same are as follows.
