CG PPT Exam 2025: Date OUT (1 May), Application Form & Registration Process

CG PPT 2025 Notification is out! The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) has released the CG PPT Notification on 13 March, 2025 for the candidates aspiring to apply for the Chhattisgarh Pre-Polytechnic Test (CG PPT). Candidates can submit their application forms on the official website @vyapam.cgstate.gov.in from 13 March onwards. The last date to submit CG PPT 2025 Application Form is 11 April, 2025. Along with the official notification, thee Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) has also announced the CG PPT Exam Date 2025. The CG PPT Entrance will be conducted on 1 May, 2025! The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur will be conducting the CG PPT 2025. Interested candidates must go through the details of the CG PPT Exam 2025 by going through this article in detail. 

• Candidates can fill the CG PPT online form from 13 March to 11 April, 2025 (5:00 pm). Post the last date to apply online, the CGPEB will open the Application Correction Window from 12 April to 14 April, 2025, allowing the applicants to make any changes in their CG PPT Application form. 
• The CG PPT 2025 Exam will be conducted on 1 May, 2025 across 33 districts in the state of Chhattisgarh. 
• The exam will be conducted through the Pen and Paper Based test which will be for 3 hours containing three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 200/- to apply online for the CG PPT Exam 2025.

What is CG PPT?

Chhattisgarh Pre-Polytechnic Test or commonly recognised as CG PPT is an entrance exam held on an annual basis to select candidates for admission into the Polytechnic courses offered by the participating Government and Private colleges of Raipur. The CG PPT is administered by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur.

CG PPT 2025 Application Form

The CG PPT 2025 Application Form is now available on the official CG Vyapam website @vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. Candidates interested in taking admissions to Polytechnic courses in the colleges of Chhattisgarh can fill out the CG PPT online form from 13 March to 11 April, 2025 (until 5:00 pm). After the last date to apply online, candidates will be provided with an application correction window from 12 April to 14 April, 2025 to make any corrections in the application form. 

How to Fill CG PPT 2025 Application Form?

The dates for the commencement of the application process will be soon released by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur. The 

Step 1: Entering Exam Prerequisites: The first step is to go to the official website and click on the CG PPT application form link. Selection of the domicile category has to be done in this step. 

Step 2: Filling of the application Form: Now the candidates can proceed to fill in their personal and academic details such as name, parent’s name, date of birth, 10th standard roll number, gender, category and more. All details have to be valid in nature and forged information will not be accepted. 

Step 3: Uploading of Documents: Applicants will have to upload their scanned passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format. The scanned documents should be as per the specifications mentioned by the exam conducting board 

Step 4: Filling of Contact Details: In this step, the candidates will have to provide their permanent and communication details which will be used for further processing from the board's side. 

Step 5: Select Preferred Exam Centre: Candidates will be given the choice to select their preferred three CG PPT 2025 exam centers from the available list.

Step 6: Submission of Form: The applicants must make sure to review the details entered. When satisfied, the candidates can submit the application form 

Step 7: Application Fee Payment: Choosing any one method, the candidates will have to pay the application fee in online mode i.e., net banking/credit card/debit card.

Step 8: Application Form Printing: Lastly, the candidates have to take a printout of the CG PPT 2025 application form for future reference.

CG PPT Eligibility Criteria 2025

To appear for the CG PPT Exam 2025, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria specified in the official notification released by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. CG PPT Admission Process 2025

Through the scores obtained in the CG PPT Exam 2025, candidates can apply for admissions to Polytechnic courses in the various colleges of Chhattisgarh. Go through the various stages of the admission process below -

Stage 1: Filling the online Application form

The authorities will release the application form online on their official website. The candidates must fill the application form with vigilance and accuracy before the last day of registration. 

Stage 2: Download Admit Card

Once the registration process is concluded, the authorities will release the admit cards on its official website a few days prior to the exam date. 

Stage 3: Appear for the CG PPT Exam 2025

In this stage, the candidates have to report to the allocated exam center. The admit card must not contain any discrepancies as it will cause troubles for the candidates. In case of discrepancies, the concerned authorities must be contacted immediately. 

Step 4: Check Result/Download Merit List

Subsequent to exam, the results will be released on the official website of CG PPT. The candidates must download their result to check their score. The merit list will be released along with the results. The candidates listed in the merit will proceed to the final stage that is the counselling session

Stage 5: Attend counselling session

The selected candidates will be allotted seats on their basis of their merit rank and availability of seats in the CG PTT 2025 accepting colleges. The candidates are required to carry the essential documents for the counselling process. The counselling session will be conducted in the prescribed counselling centers. 

CG PPT Syllabus 2025

The syllabus for the CG PPT will be soon released through the official notification for the candidates. The candidates must study the syllabus carefully and prepare for the exam on the basis of subjects and topics stated in the syllabus. CG PPT Admit Card 2025

The admit card for the CG PPT 2025 will be published on the official website of the board. If for any reason, the candidate's application form is rejected, she/he will not be allowed to download the CG PPT admit card. There must be no discrepancies in the hall ticket. With the publication of the admit card, the candidates can follow the steps listed below to download the admit card:

CG PPT Exam Centers 2025

List of Documents Required at the CG PPT Exam Centre

The test takers must carry only the necessary documents and articles to the test center. Carrying prohibited items to the test center will lead to disqualification of the candidate. The candidates must carry the following documents to the test center: 

• Driving License
• CG PPT Admit Card
• Passport size photograph
• PAN Card 
• Aadhar Card 
• Voter I-Card
• Vaccination Certificate

CG PPT Answer Key 2025

The answer key will be released for the candidates to calculate their probable marks. Post the completion of the exam, the model answer key will be released by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. The release of the answer key can be expected a few days after the CG PPT. The examinees will be given the chance to raise objections against the provisional CG PPT answer key for a certain period. However, as per rules, the objections must be accompanied by proper proof. The test takers will have to mail their objections along with the proof to the authorities at cgvyapam@gmail.com. After checking the submitted objections, the concerned authorities will release the final CG PPT 2025 answer key on the official website. CG PPT Result 2025

The result will be available for the candidates to download a few days after the conduction of the exam. The examinees can use their roll number to view their result. A merit list will also be prepared by the authority to shortlist candidates for the counselling round. The merit list will be constructed on the basis of the examinees performance in the CG PPT 2025. For the seat allotment the candidates’ merit list rank will be a prominent consideration.
