HPSC SSO Application Process 2024

The applications for Haryana PSC Senior Scientific Officer Recruitment must be submitted online between 11th to 26th March 2024. The steps to apply are as follows:

HPSC SSO Eligibility 2024

Candidates applying for the post of HPSC SSO must check the detailed eligibility criteria before applying for the recruitment. The detailed HPSC SSO Eligibility Criteria is given in the following subsections.

• Candidates must be within the age limit of 20 to 45 years.
• Candidates must have an M.Sc in the relevant disciplines.

HPSC SSO Selection Process 2024

The selection of candidates for the post of Haryana PSC Scientific Officer will comprise an interview. However, in case of a large number of applications received for the post, the Commission will adopt shortlisting criteria to limit the number of candidates to be called for the interview. The shortlisting criteria may include one or more of the following shortlisting criteria:

• The percentage of marks of the candidates in the minimum educational qualification prescribed
• The percentage of marks of the candidates in different educational qualifications, with weightage as decided by the Commission
• The desirable qualifications or any one or all of the desirable qualifications if more than one desirable qualification is prescribed.
• Higher educational qualifications than the minimum/essential prescribed in the advertisement.
• Higher experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
• Experience before minimum/essential qualifications
• Recruitment Test.

• The exam duration will be 3 hours.
• The medium of examination will be English.
• The exam will be a descriptive exam for 150 marks.
• The minimum qualifying marks are 35%.
• The weightage of the Subject Knowledge Test will be 87.5% in the overall selection.
