As per the previous official notification, candidates could apply online between 7th January (14:00 hours) and 27th January 2022 on the MPSC official website. Earlier, MPSC has released the MPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor Result & Cut-off for the Screening Test of 2022 cycle held on 11th September 2022. 547 vacancies were announced for this position. Candidates who have qualified for the screening test will be called for an interview. Along with the result, the MPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor cut-off has been released. The candidates who wish to apply online need to understand the eligibility criteria well. The MPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor Eligibility Criteria have been defined in terms of age limit, educational qualification, and experience. A. MPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 18 years old. The upper age limit shall be as per the candidate's category:

B. MPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor Educational Qualification & Experience

The applicant must possess a degree in Law and thereafter possess experience of working as an advocate in the High Court or in a Court Subordinate thereto, for at least 5 years.
The experience criterion shall not be applicable to those candidates who are working as Police prosecutors in the service of the Government.
In the case of insufficient candidates available for vacancies for reserved categories, the experience criterion shall be relaxed.

MPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor Selection Process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the screening test and an interview.
In order to shortlist the candidates for the interview, higher qualifications or experience or achievements can also be taken into consideration.
The MPSC will conduct a screening test.
In any case, the candidate will have to score a minimum of 41% marks in the interview.
