OSSSC Excise Constable Exam Pattern and Selection Process 2022

The Odisha SSSC has divided the selection process into the following stages;

• Written Exam
• PSM/PET
• Merit List

The detailed exam pattern for the above stages are given below;

Written Examination 

• The total weightage of the OSSSC Excise Constable written exam is 180 marks.
• The negative marking for the OSSSC Excise Constable marks is 0.5 marks.
• The written test shall be of the 10th class standard. (MCQ type)

Physical Standard Measurement Test (PST)

• All the candidates who have cleared the written test will appear in the Physical Standard Measurement Test after the written test.
• The candidates must satisfy the minimum physical standard of Height, Weight and chest.

Physical Efficiency Test(PET) 

• The candidates who qualify the PST will be eligible for the PET. 
• The candidates are required to submit an undertaking to undergo the test in her/his own will.

Merit List

• The merit list of candidates will be prepared on the basis of the sum total of marks in the Written Test.
