Before applying for admission to the SRM University you have to fulfill SRM University eligibility criteria. To help you get the SRMJEEE Eligibility criteria 2020 we are sharing the below information.

Have a quick look at the SRM Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech courses and proceed to fill the application form to apply for this exam.

Nationality

Indian residents, NRIs, PIO/OCI card holders are eligible to apply for the SRMJEEE exam.

Qualifying exam

10+2 level with PCM/PCB from CBSE, state board, ICSE, NIOS, and Matriculation. Candidates who appeared in the current year can also apply for the SRM University exam.

Candidates from International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or having A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as major subjects from any international school.

Note: Those candidates who have passed their 10th and 12th level in NIOS are not eligible to apply for the SRM university examination.

Age Limit

Candidate must be 16 years as on 31st July of the year in which he/she has attempted the 12th Board examination. The maximum age limit for candidates willing to appear for the SRMJEEE exam is 21 years.

Note: Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam in not more than two attempts that include appearing in the improvement exam will be considered for admission.

SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech – Biotech/Genetic

Candidates must have passed 10+2/equivalent exam from a government recognized board or university.
He/she must have cleared the qualifying exam with PCB/PCM as subjects.
He/she must have passed his IB A-level exam with PCB/PCM from any International school in India.

Important Note: Those candidates who are appearing for their 10+2 level exam or its equivalent can also apply. After going through the SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria you can proceed to the SRMJEEE application form.

-> SRMJEEE 2025 exam phase 1 results were declared on 5th May 2025 on its ofiicial webiste.

-> SRMJEEE 2025 phase 1 exams were conducted from 22 to 27 April 2025 in remote proctored mode online.

-> Candidates must be at least 16 years old by July 31 and have 60% in PCM in 12th grade to be eligible for SRMJEEE 2025.
