- वर्नियर ऊँचाई प्रमापी का निर्माण वर्नियर कैलीपर के समान ही होता है सिवाय इसके कि यह दृढ आधार के साथ लंबवत होता है।
- इसे उसी वर्नियर सिद्धांत पर अंशांकित किया जाता है जो वर्नियर कैलीपर पर लागू होता है।
- इसमें एक सीधा स्टील बीम होता है जो स्टील के आधार से जुड़ा होता है।
- बीम को mm के साथ-साथ इंच में मुख्य पैमाने के साथ अंशांकित किया जाता है।
- मुख्य स्लाइड में एक जबड़ा(जाॅ) होता है जिस पर विभिन्न अटैचमेंट्स के साथ क्लैंम्प किया जा सकता है।
