When 'n' resistances are connected in series, the value of  Req is given by:

\(R_{eq}=R_1+R_2........R_n\)

 When 'n' identical resistances are connected in series, the value of  Req is given by:

\(R_{eq}=nR\)

When 'n' resistors are connected in parallel, the value of  Req is given by:

\({1\over R_{eq}}={1\over R_1}+{1\over R_2}.........{1\over R_n}\)

When 'n' identical resistances are connected in parallel, the value of  Req is given by:

\({ R_{eq}}={R\over n}\)

Calculation

Given, \(R_1=10\Omega\) and n = 10

\({1\over R_{eq}}={R\over n}\)

\({ R_{eq}}={10\over 10}\)

\({ R_{eq}}=1\Omega\)
