Given :

A grocer claims that he is selling sugar at Rs. 48/kg, which costs him Rs. 50/kg.

He is giving 900 g instead of 1000 g.

Calculation :

According to question,

⇒ 48/50 × 1000/900

⇒ 480/(50 × 9)

⇒ 480/450

Percentage Profit = 3/45 × 100 = 100/15 = 6.66% ≈ 6.7%

∴ The correct answer is 6.7%.
